I'm a Curator! Tinlark Gallery's INSPIRED show opens on Saturday.

Tinlark Gallery in L.A. has a show opening on Saturday to celebrate their 2nd anniversary. The show is called INSPIRED and it features art curated by 7 bloggers, and I'm one of them! Woo hoo! The other bloggers are Grace of Design*Sponge, Joanna of A Cup of Jo, Erin of Design for Mankind, Abbey of Aesthetic Outburst, Meighan of My Love for You is a Stampede of Horses, and Holly of decor8. How I got wrapped up with that amazing bunch of people is beyond me.

The two artists I chose for the show are Amy Huddleston and Ivy Jacobsen. I'm pretty much obsessed with both of them. Examples of Amy's paintings are above in the first two paintings and Ivy's are the third and fourth. Other artists in the show are Anne M. Hall, Bailey Saliwanchik, Betsy Walton, Henrike Stahl, Kime Buzzelli, Marcie Paper, Marta Rich, Mike Perry, Natalia Czajkiewicz, Rachel Papo, Souther Salazar, Tanya Aguiñiga and Yu-i Chan.

Jamie Shelman featured my Kitties a little while ago on her super cute blog, Small Expectations. You can check out the post here. I have completely fallen in love with Jamie's little kitty illustrations. They are sooooo darling! Original drawings and greeting cards are available in her etsy store. Cuteness galore!

New Kitties, sketchbooks and a cross stitch pattern

Hi all. I have some new Kitties to share. They'll go up in the store this week along with a couple of new Kitty sketchbooks. I can't wait to make some more! I especially like the little Siamese kitty, I'll definitely be making more of those. Also, remember the cross stitch that I did on my bag a while back? I finally made it into a pattern. Yay, that's something that I've been meaning to do forever and now I can cross it off my list. It's up in my etsy store too. Lastly, a lot of you may have discovered this program already, but I used it for the first time yesterday and I just love it. It's called Poladroid and it can make any of your digital photos look like polaroids. So fun! The free download can be found here. I made one of my Kitty, Sammy. He was laying on his back looking all cute. Marew!

Artist: Susan Schwake

I love these paintings by Susan Schwake of art esprit. I think the Rabbit Run one is my favorite because it's so bright and I like birds and bunnies. But I'm definitely falling for the figures painted on the music sheets too. These are all original small works that she sells in her Etsy store.
