HAITI SAMPLER embroidery pattern

Wow, I am such a blog procrastinator. Since Christmas this has gone from a posting everyday blog to a not posting at all one. Yikes. Well, I'm going to attempt to get back into things again. I'll be doing a bit of a redesign within the next couple of weeks and hopefully posting every weekday again. I'm busier then I've ever been which is great but also why I've been sacrificing the bloggy blog. But I'm finding that I'm really missing my little evening posting ritual. There are so many great artist out there that I see from people's tweets and blogs and this is sort of my record of things I'm really excited about and I don't want to loose that. I also want to keep sharing the things that I've been working on with you. So here it goes, I hope that I can get into it again. I guess it's just one of those things that you have to really make time for.

On another note... I'm super excited to share with you my latest project. I've teamed up with the SOS Children's Villages charity to create this Haiti inspired embroidery pattern. It is based on the drawings of a 16 yr old boy that lives in the village of Cap Haitien, Haiti. It was such a treat to work on this project and the best part is all of the profits from the sales of the pattern are donated to the SOS Children's Villages, Haiti relief fund. So if you want to help out the children affected by the earthquake in Haiti, and want to stitch a really lovely embroidery then look no further. Here you go! And spread the word!
