Teddy Bear urges

Every once in a while I get the HUGE urge to make a teddy bear. Last night I was too busy to drop everything and make one, so instead I went to flickr and favorited all of these lovelies. Unfortunately, instead off suppressing the urge, looking at all of them just made me want to make one even more! So join me by checking out the links below to see these bears and other cuteness.

I think these embroidered button/brooches by Birthine are super cool. Each stitch looks like a little colorful pixel. Check out tons more on the Birthine flicker site here.

Blog: We Say Meow

A couple of weeks ago, the lovely Mary Kilvert asked me to be a part of her and Anke Weckmann's new blog "We Say Meow". I immediately said YES and it's quickly become one of my new favorite blogs. It's all about cats, the artists who own them, and the art they make featuring felines. Tee hee, can't beat that! Check out the blog here. The art above was created by (in order from top to bottom) Matte Stephens, Gemma Correll, Lisa Evans, Anna Wadham, and Leila Shetty.

Artist: Jennifer Davis

Yay! I'm so excited to see that the wonderful Minneapolis artist, Jennifer Davis, is Etsy's current featured seller. Jennifer is one of the artist that If I had oodles of cash I would buy everything she paints. All of her work has just the right mixture of quirky and cute. I love her color palettes. To see more of Jennifer's work check out her etsy store and website. Also check out her featured seller interview.
