Got two more embroidery patterns finished; B for Butterfly and T for Turtle. I wanted to get 5 done this week. Just one more left, a Raccoon. Hopefully I'll have that to post for tomorrow. Check out these new guys in my store.

Artist: Stephen Tamiesie

I'm loving these photos by Stephen Tamiesie. I just love how stark and muted they are, and how it takes a second or two to realize the subject in the photo. See lots more on his website, blog and etsy store.

New embroidery patterns: monkey and giraffe

Finished up two new embroidery patterns today, woo hoo, a little Monkey and a Giraffe. I have three more drawn up, I just need to embroider them. After those next three are done, then I'll be half way through the alphabet. Yay! You can find these two up in the store.

Artist: Colin Johnson

Check it out! Another fantastic Minneapolis artist. These paintings/collages are the work of Colin Johnson. Click on the images to see all the little pieces that were put together to create the collages. I love the first one with the yellow rose. Very cool. Check out more of Colin's work on his website and flickr.

Artist: TARU Design

Check out these super quirky and adorable wood characters by TARU Design. Eeee, they just make me happy. I have a feeling that one of the little Zirmas (the caterpiller looking guys) will eventually be crawling to my desk. See more in the TARU Design etsy store.
