Embroidery puppy no. 2 progress

Here's the second little doggy for the series of three embroidered puppies that I'm working on. This one has a bunch of lattice stitching for the background which I'm pretty excited about. I'll share more pics when I'm farther along.

Artist: Cameron Oehler of 1337motif

Gah! These cutting boards and coasters are AMAZING! Cameron Oehler of 1337motif (pronounce "leet motif" for you non-gamers) constructs his cutting boards out of blocks of different woods to create his PacMan and Space Invaders. Too cool! Check out more on the 1337motif website and etsy store.

Kitties by Jamie Shelman and Gemma Correll

Today I was missing my kitty, Sammy (actually my bros cat that lives at my parent's house), so I decided to share some art from my "go to" favorite kitty artists: Jamie Shelman and Gemma Correll. I LOVE LOVE LOVE their kitties! I want them tattooed on me, heh heh. The top three images are Jamie's and the bottom two are Gemma's. Gah, they're so cute it just kills me.

Dog embroidery DONE!

Woo hoo, finished my dog embroidery! I used Cosmo thread for the first time which was really fun. Their embroidery floss is so soft. I think this little pup might be the first in a series of three of these dog + fun border embroideries. I'd like to make them into patterns too. We'll see, I have to get my thinking cap on. Let me know what you think.

Dog embroidery in progress

Hi all. Just got back from a Cali trip to visit the in laws. It was super relaxing and I got to just sit. I did however start a new embroidery there. Here are some progress pics. It was a bit difficult for me making a kind of monotone background/border since my colors are usually all over the place. But I thought it'd be a good challenge. I'll share more (and better) pics when I finish.
